No matter what I put in to these damn seats, they always seem to end up dry.
Have you tried Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil?

Hosed off the oil cooler and A/C condensor. Good amount of crud on the oil cooler, not so much on condensor.

Was having starting issues. Changed ignition switch. A real PITA 5 hour ordeal. Still have problem. Changed starter relay. Still have problem. Cleaned grounds on battery and starter. Still have problem. Changed starter. Bingo, problem solved.

While the car was up on the stands and apart I changed the oil and trans gear oil.

Or surflex Soffener? Works great even on leather that has gone rock hard with neglect.

Or

No affliliation, but have had great results. Work best when you wrap with plastic (eg drycleaner bag) and bake in the sun. May need multiple applications to replace all the lost oils but like new when done.

Careful, that looks like it might be the VW Vortex.
You DON'T want to get sucked into that.

Thank you! I'm going to give them all a try. The leather on the seats is still quite soft but it seems to completely absorb everything I put on it.

More new seat covers.

Ok really I just gave the Leather a couple coats of leathique rejuvenating oil and the bags are there to cover it per the suggested instructions. Going to do a clean next and then a few more coats. The stuff smells great and seems to really soak in. We will see if it makes it less dry/hard although mine, being an always garaged northeast/mid-Atlantic car, seemed pretty supple to begin with.

You might want to park it outside in the sunshine with the windows up...

My garage is well over 80 degrees right now so I think I am ok. It was outside for a while, but it rained last night and the cab does not see rain.
