I also had Ian @ Carbonite paint correct my black 993.
Removed old clear bra from bumper / hood, and had new Suntek installed. No more bra line.

I recently got this 95 993 from a fellow RL'er and went for first drive in great weather today. Car is very easy to drive, very smooth. It's a real cruiser.
Love it.

ian is great. but i will have to get him to polish the rear of 95 a bit more. i see stuff on the rear quarter panel.

both of you needs BIG OVALS and muffler mods

Darin shipped these babies Friday afternoon.

UPS rang my door bell on Saturday afternoon.
Unboxed and installed them Saturday night.

Enjoyed a great ride with phenomenal sounds behind me today.
All and all, a great weekend.
Life is good.

With 22 years and 94k miles of accumulated road rash, my front-end was overdue for a repaint. After considering the cost difference between doing just the front-end or the entire car, I decided to go all-in...

The front bumper was replaced with a new euro Turbo-S style bumper from Gert, and the rear bumperettes were painted to match the body color. I also added Turbo S ducts with LED projector lenses, new headlight lenses to replace the dingy looking originals, and a nickel plated hood crest to complete the monotone look. The wart-like headlight washers were deleted, and I opted to not replace the Carrera badge on the engine cover.

l Picked my car up yesterday, and I couldn't be happier. The work was done by Shane East, who has continued running the shop that his father opened in the 1970's. Here are a few photos...
