I am a bit confused by your statement. In
1969, Porsche offered a grey color on their
912 called 'Slate Grey', color code 615.
That same hue is available to you today via
PTS. It is, unsurprisingly, color code 615!
'Slate Grey' was Porsche's only color that year
that even remotely is close to looking like the
Italian 'Grigio Telesto'. Who told you that your
1969 912 is ''Gregio Telesto'? Was your 912
requested in a unique PTS color? And what
does the Color ID Plate reads in your door jam?

Want a Targa 4GTS in this Colour.....Have a Blk Blk one but think this new Saffron will look better.....

That's the one. Would match nicely...
Eduardo, I have two 1969s. The only things stock about the one above are the steering column and doors. As part of the "renovation" I did my own PTS a couple years back. I was thinking I'd match it if I could ever get PTS. Long shot...

Don't lose hope for PTS on the .2 991 gt3. Who knows
how many slots PAG will open up! In the end, it's all
about getting lucky. Do you feel lucky, Petevd?

Thus let's bring some excitement to the forum!
In the world of Porsche approved colors as of
5/30/2017, the following hues were added, or
rejected, by PAG to the PTS list!
*
Approved for the 991/718 model:
'Vesuvio Metallic' (color code W40)
approved for 991/718 only.
*
Approved for the Macan/Panamera only:
'Avocado Green Metallic', color code
Z6R. Approved only for Macan/Panamera
only.
'Gregio Telesto Metallic', color code Z69,
now approved for Macan/Panamera. The color
was & is still is approved for the 991/718.
*
Rejections:
'Fayence Yellow', color code 1C1, rejected
for the Macan/Panamera. Previously listed as
approved for this model. But now 'Nein'. The
color was also rejected previously for 991/718
model.
'Pearlescent Effect White', color code
947, rejected for Macan/Panamera. It was &
still is approved for 991/718.

Thanks for the very recent update Eduardo! Was wondering if Grigio Telesto will be approved for Macan/Panamera since last was only slate grey 6601 and Grey black.

Haha why are you concerned with UK?
The message from each Porsche importer website (i.e. www.porsche.com/ *country abbreviation*) is custom by the associated importer/subsidiary.
Every country is going to present communication differently to customers depending how they deal with GT allocations, limited allocations, etc. UK prefers to make it very clear that although you can configure and "buid" a car, they want to be explicit about the disclaimer that it only has limited availability.
Just like when 911R is sold out, PCNA have the message "911R is sold out, thank you for your interest blah blah blah". Many other countries don't have this message when entering the 911R configurator, doesn't mean its not sold out in other countries. PCNA just wanted to add the message.
So in truth it is limited availability everywhere.
