Just in April, when I toured the assembly areas
at Werk II, there was a Cup car (in 'white') that
was in its own special work area on the side of
the normal production waiting to be fitted with
its very unique & special Cup components. And
I distinctly remember seeing other Cup cars in
a similar area of the factory most times I have
toured Werk II!

+1 matches my understanding, the only cars assembled by Motorsport at Weissach are the race cars (RSR etc), everything else, including cups, are
assembled on the 911 line at Zuffenhausen (although as Eduardo points
out the cups are pulled off the line and assembled by hand in a separate
area.

On the UK configurator, it states *Limited Availability on the GT3.

When I visited Zuffenhausen factory back in March, I just missed the .2 Cup car production, they just left on transports to Weissach to be finish up. The extra wheels with slicks were still lying around the factory. The cars basically go from start to finish on the same production line as the street cars, go through the same paint booth and such.

Porsche do them in one go, as in one single batch on the line as there aren't that many being made anyway. The GT4 Clubsport on the other hand were mixed in between regular street cars, as that car is much closer to a street car and has a higher production numbers. But after getting off the line they were still being transported to Weissach for the final touches.

3 years ago I was at Weissach in April testing the 918 and I witness the Cup cars being unloaded at Weissach.

I do believe the basic bodyshell of the GT3R and the GT3RSR also go through the Zuffenhausen line, as they carry the same 911 unibody. The special customization are done at Weissach after.

correct, basic chassis assembly and painting occurs on the zuffenhausen line, then the "body in white" is taken to Weissach...

Any news on Saffron Yellow, I wanted this on Targa 4 GTS for Sep Build. But had the Nod, not going to happen.

Any shots of this one? My '69 912 is in this color, and I'd been thinking about trying to match it if I ever got PTS. Same name does not mean the same color, obviously...

Grigio Telesto is markedly darker than Nardo Grey.
Both of them change appearance in different light, (and I've never seen a truly representative pic of Nardo).
Like for like, on same day (obviously!) and in same light; Nardo on the left, Grigio Telesto on the right:

Somewhere here on RL I just saw this on a 991.1 GT3 (maybe a sponsor thread)

Thanks for the comparison picture, Gregio Telesto Metallic is off the list for me then, but I prefer Nardo anyways.
Here's another Grigio Telesto Metallic;

Yes, it's coming soon for 911 Turbo only (initially)
& European dealers are already getting color
samples for their showrooms. Should have
the samples in North America soon. We thank
Tobias for his report!

Three shots have been taken under spot/neonlight, one in the showroom with a racingyellow Boxster as comparison; the sun just came through the windows.

According to the salesperson, this color should - however - only be eligible for Turbo S / Turbo. Whether or not this comes on GT3 he did not know.
