Yeah, but when I read this "Approved for the Macan/Panamera only:" in front of it, that made me think it was then only approved for the Macan/Panamera and for some reason took it off the table for a carrera. If thats not the case then I'm still a happy camper haha.

November production, but not all cars built in November can be PTS. There are limited slots for that. And note that there is still no such thing as a confirmed PTS allocation - dealers cannot order PTS yet, it doesn't show up in their system.

I guess I'll stick to racing yellow then.
It would have been nice to get the Golden Yellow Metallic though

I'm getting nervous about .2GT3 allocations. Will there be more or less produced this time round, especially with all the other GT models coming down the line?

The PTS window is supposed to open sometime
this fall. In fact, it might be earlier than November!
![ooops](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/icon501.gif)
But the opening of the PTS window & the start of
actual PTS production are NOT simultaneous events.
After the PTS window officially opens, dealers will
put in their request for .2 gt3 allocations & try to
get one of the coveted PTS slots for their customers.
Once PAG (via the PCNA order computers) picks the
few lucky winners of the limited PTS slots for this
.2 991 gt3 model (how that is decided is still
a big mystery although it helps to be among
the first to request it on the first hour when
the PTS window opens - so caveat lector),
PAG will then request a color selection from their
approved PTS list from those lucky enough to
have been selected for PTS on this desirable
gt model. PAG then order the PTS paint from
their suppliers & set the wheels in motion for
the eventual production of this PTS vehicle
MONTHS later!
At a minimum, it takes 3 months from date
of a confirmed PTS order to actual production
of said PTS vehicle ON the assembly lines in
Zuffenhausen.
And that is a best case scenario! PAG might decide
to bunch up most (or all) PTS orders for the .2 991
gt3 & build them in late Spring - say March or April
of 2018. So the earliest a normal client can expect
to see his PTS .2 gt3 in production is THREE months
from the confirmation of his PTS slot in the PAG order
books! And that process will not even start until PAG
opens the PTS window for this model. Capisci?
So don't let anyone confuse the opening of the PTS
window with the start of PTS production on this model.
The two are quite separate matters & events!

Each one of your posts is like a lecture given by an Ivy league college professor to someone like myself, a middle schooler. I always read it with my mouth open and tongue hanging, regardless of the topic.
Thank you!

Sir Eduardo,
I have a car on order, scheduled for Oct. production. Can the PTS window open for me at any time prior to the start of production? If yes, I'm fine with actual production getting pushed out to 2018.
My PTS options: Mexico Blue or Sport Classic Gray, which I understand would be available.
