ETA: I mean it isn't a supercar. Plastic interior and you have to deal with those stupid centerlock wheels. But talk about a great color on a GTS or gt3.
It is a great-looking car The service history is weak, at least on Carfax, and it's been moved around a lot. It doesn't seem like it was a bad wreck on Carfax and it was almost four years ago, no airbag deployments noted, and it's not a branded title. 997's are steel cars, they can tolerate a lot of repair.
If I were in the market for a low-mileage coupe like this, it would be worth a call. But, it needs a thorough PPI, no doubt.
The price is not a bargain for a 2006 S, but the miles are something else at only 23,290. Definitely worth a call. Why is everyone so hung up on body damage? If it's repaired properly, it's not a big deal.
Seriously, I like white over tan, especially in a cab; it looks clean. I would like to see the Carfax to see if that explains the price.
I hope this car is nice. I still feel bad about the totaled, flood-damaged green Targa 4S that's for sale. The price seems to reflect some issues, and I am hopeful someone on here will pull the Carfax. I am out of the pre-purchased allotment from my own 997 search, or I would do it. Inquiring minds want to know. If it's wonderful, it might be worth trading my C4S to wash out most of the sales tax; the weather's nice, if the car is worth buying, then there are a lot of people out there who could drive it home.
If I hadn't just bought a C4S and choked down $6,000 in sales tax, services and a couple of minor repairs, I would be very excited about this car. I haven't put Xpel PPF on mine yet, so I could spend that on this GTS. I'd be trading up in miles, 28K to 44K, but I don't drive more than 5K / yr in WI. Admittedly it's a PDK and I have a manual, but I am warming up to the PDK. It sounds like the stripes are tape, or a partial wrap, so they should come off easy enough.
I think I am talking myself into inquiring about this car.

It's a pretty car - the stripes and interior paint may be removable. Love the painted wheels. Visiting south FL this weekend and may go check it out.
That green Targa 4S is a shame. Beautiful color on a rare model. Green 4WD hatchback = perfect

If you do, please post about it, I just wrote to the salesman asking for the Carfax and if they'd consider trades. I will post the Carfax if he sends it.
It's about $15K low; that will cover a lot of red removal if that's the only problem.

I'm about half a mile from this dealership and have driven past the car a few times. If anyone would like me to stop by and ask any questions or take a few specific pictures let me know.

Edit:
Just drove by
Very cool car. Love the painted wheels. Those are love/hate and may be a big reason.
Hey guy's - anyone have any opinions or thoughts on a dealer called Miami Imports? They have a 997 I'm looking at (On-line) but wanted to get some thoughts or experiences on this place.
