Curious. Any times for the Atlanta Motorsports Park track? Great time at Road Atlanta btw. I lapped similar times in my Spyder over summer. What an awesome track that is!
Probably low 1:30's at AMP. I did 1:35 in my 991 C2S. I expect my GT4 to be quicker.
That's a great lap at RA. How many 1:38's did you do?
Thanks! My buddy with the STI has one of my sessions on his Garmin with a 1:38.XX. For my footage, I actually didn't bother looking at anything but the last session of the day because that's the only time I had some zero track laps. For the most part I think I was 1:38-141 ish when traffic allowed. I think for future track days I may just save my consumables for the afternoon sessions when the traffic is lower. Then again that is a waste of track insurance for half a track day.
Improved my time on infield circuit at Homestead on Saturday 1.38.67. Car is still totally stock. Running OE dunlops.
Nice & fast! What group were you in? Solo or Super Solo? I was also there both days (Solo grp) but in my uber car... stock Focus RS clocking a 1:45 tho and pointing by primarily the GT4's.
I also got a new PB at regular Thunderbolt yesterday with 1:31.42.
Funny thing was that I thought I only improved by like .4 and while writing this post I realize it was 1.4s.
this goes to show that you need to get mentally up to speed.... in mind I was already running 1:31s and now I did it for real
and congrats to John for his new PB at thunderbolt yesterday... he is crushing it.... I got my PB trying to keep up with him on a one of his slow laps :-)
Ran a 1:59.1 going CW at Chuckwalla this past weekend but here's the fastest timed video...
Martin-- Were you running new Hoosiers for this event, as threatened in your other post here?
A 1:59 looks like a really good time for that weekend in a GT4, since it seems like conditions weren't that good--most people seemed to be a second or two off their personal best at that event. I think only Dwain set a new class record for Zone 8 PCA with his 1:49.

Yeah, I was running on R7s. It was damn hot and I was sick so not a good combo. I know I would have gotten into the 1:58s if I wasn't sick. In cooler weather I can see a low 1:57. Dwain passed me in his beast of a car like I was standing still, didn't even have to get let off on the throttle for him to pass me.
