Not to be taken the wrong way by AC Satco, who's just relating the piece of info he has received, but the dealership as a source has proven very unreliable time and time again on this board. So much so that I take everything they relate as I take the story of Alice in Wonderland. Whether they are misinformed by their sources or they do it on purpose to create an image of rarity makes no difference to me. I have 100% accurate information that dealerships provide training classes for their sales associates, where they're actually teaching them to understand the buyer's state of mind and how they can manipulate that in order to achieve a sale in their advantage. It might sound SF to some, but I promise you this is very true!

133 to start... for all the dealer principals to hoard and play with... then another 200 will trickle out because profit. next year we will see more.
do we learn NOTHING? yes, we learn nothing.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again; once McLaren figures out that putting wider / stickier tires on their future models is not a detriment to steering feel, it's game over for the competition. A 'P14 LT' or some such with 295+ up front and 335+ Michelin or Trofeo R's would provide true race car level grip.
No one need mention to Mclaren anything about rear-wheel steering either.

I'm so in for the P14, the P14 LT, and anything else that McLaren throws at me (that is not a Spider).
That said, I'm in for a 991.2 GT2 RS, as well. Have to feed the Porsche addiction too.
