This is the difference. KK says the car had the IMSB replaced using the Pelican IMSB. What KK does not say to the buyer is that a portion of the Pelican IMSB was used while other parts were not and the other parts that were not used were replaced with an unproven experimental material. Buyer thinks he bought a car with a known IMSB replacement but KK knew otherwise and did not disclose that little part to the buyer. Kinda sounds like fraud to me. Re: the PPI comment........no $300 PPI is going find what the IMSB is or isn't unless you drop the tranny. And even if that had happened it still wouldn't have been found.
Wow. This is crazy! And the fact that KK posted about it, albeit the thread now being deleted...

The extent of my knowledge about the law is limited to my father, my son (in 3rd year at Lewis and Clark Law), my graduate school course work in Business Law, and frigging traffic court, and each have taught me one thing well, and that is---> Most people that think they know the law, myself included, absolutely have NO IDEA WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT WHEN IT COMES TO THE LAW!
You simply don't know , what you don't know. With that said- perhaps it would be a good idea for C4911 to talk to an attorney in his State and learn for himself if he has a "fraud" case or not, after all he did have a verbal contract with KK and (IIRC) it appears the vehicle was sold and shipped across State lines. I would not jump to any conclusions about what he may be entitled to, or not, under the law.

A feeble attempt. If it was THAT obvious, this WOULD be a case. But it is not. There is no need to "strenuously argue" to you on-line lawyers, because if it were a case, you would be on it.
I began my first response a few days ago simply to express how the buyer should NOT BOTHER, because all you false prophets would only serve to unnecessarily goad him into taking on a suit that would fail.

Yah, they are likely quiet because they realize that your "case" stance is indefensible, and it would be a wasted effort to try to prove you wrong -- after all, they would not receive any remuneration for their efforts.
I chose to stick with this stupid argument, because I just don't like the dog piling and character assassinations that this Pelican clique is engaged in.
