4 Post Car Lifts

They also have some wheel lift adapters for two post lifts (which can be nice in certain circumstances in terms of flexible use of the lift).
I wouldn't get terribly hung up on ALI certification, it's barely worth the paper it is written on.

Also found this...says "ELI Certified", which is odd, as everything else says ALI/ELI

Actually reading it again, the motor and hydraulic pump are ELI certified.

Are you suggesting that the Chinese steel on a 7 or 9,000 LB rated lift won't safely support a 3K pound car?
I think this whole discussion is kind of silly. But maybe that's just me. I wrongly assumed someone was looking for a reasonably priced lift to store their car and occasionally raise and lower it safely.

I should point out that 4 post lifts are great, but they can be a bit tiring in practical, frequent use. They are slow, noisy and the ramps are a whole other issue. I'm happy with the Bendpak, but I would not be thrilled to use it daily.

Not what I wanted to hear, but thank you! Probably won't be daily use, but several times a week for sure.

Not a huge deal, but I think daily would be irritating - just me. I need to install my ramps each time because they don't clear the garage door (I moved the lift outward to maximize space in front). That's the biggest issue, and may be unique to my setup. Also, I use a remote compressor for the safety locks. I don't think that's necessary, I think you can get by with a much smaller setup since very little pressure is in fact required. I'd research that and get the smallest portable solution you need - note, it's only required to lower, not to raise.

Once a week for me is more than enough. I personally found getting the car on and off a bit of a hassle, especially my garage only allows for a narrow lift. Makes putting a wide car on top a bit of a challenge. I only have a few inches of clearance on each side for the rear wheels.
Obviously YMMV.

That’s a lot of switching.

The biggest pain for me is putting on the ramps, as mine also don’t fit in the garage with the door closed. Takes maybe 5 minutes to get out of the car, place the ramps and get back in again, but it is a pita!
Race Ramps are much easier to handle than the steel ramps the lifts come with.

How wide is your garage door?

Looks like a 10 foot door on your drawing. Are you sure about those interior wall dimensions? That is an extra-wide garage bay. Sorry for the questions, but I did plant layouts for a number of years, so I look a little closer than most. An 8 foot door would typically have about a 9 foot wide interior bay. 10 would be great though!
