There's 13 of us plus Pete M's partner and Daniel. Presume everyone will be in unless there's a pref for Palmy?
I'm in. Thanks for picking this up

All reserved - have enough rooms for the full crew. Holding on c card for now and plenty of time to confirm. Deposit maybe needed in a month or so. Apparently some horse competition in town that weekend so good idea to get sorted.

Good work. What else do we need to organise? Probably just the logistics of getting our gear down there. I'm seriously looking at taking out my passenger seat and taking the track wheels down in the car. I can't see Steve having enough room for many spare sets in his van.

Chased up the banners. They're starting them 'soon'. No opportunity for a trial one as the machine isn't set up that way. I'd say we're looking at next week. Can only hope I have a car to put it on.

Pete. Thanks for organizing Palmy accommodation. let us know when payment is needed.

John thanks for sorting out banners. let us know when and how we pay you.

I have been trying to get in touch with Ray Williams about providing instructor services for September but after two emails no response so will follow up with a phone call later this week and confirm situation....

Now to keep us going until then here's Georges well known Exige making short work of some nice kit out on Taupo. He sure can peddle that Exige.

I like his style of dispatch. He clearly knows the track and the car and uses a line and braking to reel them in slowly even though hes probably 100+ bhp down on all of them. Nice...

Rather aggressive driving for a non-competitive track day.

Difficult to say anything definitively without knowing how experienced all of the drivers were and how they'd chosen to run their group e.g. the front cars didn't appear to yield either so it wasn't all the chaser.

If it were our group, then it would be time to sort out some protocols. I do not have the skills to deal with racing lines and cars at close quarter, at the same time. That's why I'll look to go in the latter part of our group for the meantime, and definitely behind 'three abreast on turn one' Paul.

Playday just posted on Facebook. Two South Island tours now fully booked. 70 entrants each. One week apart.

Where did our group end up on this? Are we able to go as one group or are we split amongst the first week or even split amongst weeks?

Playday arranged accommodation at Golden Gate in Cromwell is full for 22 & 23 March. Not sure who got in here but this seems to be a feature of this trip. I will try and book at the Carrick Lodge.
