Good luck everyone - wish I was there this weekend! Cheering on my daughter in a competition instead. She's only 16 once but there will be other races!

Like Todd, I'm out too, my GT3 cup engine is toast, and I was too busy with my wife's health issues and taxes to get my '73 ready (would have been ready, but Gary Fairbanks retired, I pulled my tranny to bring him, should have called first...)
Good luck and have fun, see you next year!

It was a good day today. Initially very cold and damp and then just cold and a little windy. Cars made good power and the track developed some grip for qualifying. Here is my last qualifying lap:

Really enjoyed seeing a ton of Rennlisters and other friends and clients up at Lime Rock. Gary R.'s cheery face included.
Great weekend! Super close fields, some pretty breathtaking four-wides into Big Bend and not too much carnage or car issues.
Some of the hot-pulls were scary and I gotta say I saw no fewer than a dozen PUY in Race 2 for the Yellow group between Start/Finish and the pedestrian bridge before Big Bend, with a stationary yellow at S/F and a WAVING yellow at Station One just past the bridge... when I queried the staff on pit lane, they said no one had been called in. Oh, well...
Hats off off to the 104 volunteers, CVR folks and the Zone 1 rep who came down from Canada to visit.
Smooth event, run on schedule and we lucked out on the weather!

Huge congratulations to Franklin Pray on the GTB1 P1 as well as the Workers Choice award and all the other Class winners, participants and rookies!!
To know Frank is to know what putting other people first really means. He is always willing to step up and offer help or advice. Not surprised with either result! Wish I could have been there but at least there is Race monitor.

Drifting
The CVR volunteers did a great job running this race, if only they could have altered the weather a bit. Had a good time running in Orange, got lucky with a P1 in GTC4 in 1st Sprint and good racing in Sprint 2 until my throttle cable started sticking halfway through the race and snapped with 7 minutes to go. Hate the DNF but it was great to be back at LR after a 2 year hiatus.

The white group got lucky with the weather today. Finished second to Karl Poetl in Sprint 1, which is as good as a win in my book. A cracked fuel rail kept me from running Sprint 2. Thank you to all the volunteers for another great weekend.

1st time for me at Lime rock. What a technical track. Congrats to Frank on your wins and thx to matt muller for the tips. Met a bunch of friends and thx to all the volunteers.
my best was a 57:5 which is ok considering my handling problem and power loss.
The car was all over the place. I just couldnt get the power down and was fighting it to keep the car on track.
Watch the interesting start! hehe

Congrats Steve K in C3 with a 53.7. Was a great event, Unfortunately, a little bit of carnage in the second sprint.
Dan Jacobs and his crew did, as usual, an amazing job for their cars, especially putting a C4 car back together between races 1 and 2.
