I did see the lap charts where Sergio posted good times, but I was too distracted watching Massa continually drive off of the track. Come Felipe, how I am supposed to cheer for you to beat your teammate when you can't even keep the car on the track. Don't worry though. I am not cheering for Felipe to win the WDC. Just cheering for him to beat his teammate. 
Too many unknowns still to be answered. I fear this may be a controversial year for a number of reasons:
1) The tires are purposely not engineered to last and apparently when they go south, they go south very fast. I guess we can expect to see races won not so much because cars passed each other on the track, but instead won because of who passed who in the pits and who got caught out there on the track with bad tires.
2) Watching the P2 practice session on TV last night, there was an awful lot of cars who could not keep it on the track. Can we expect this to happen in the races?
3) I honestly don't see how KERS or these movable rear wings are going to help passing when everyone has them and the crazy rule of if one car has inters or wets on then nobody is allowed to use their movable rear wing will only add to more confusion.

4) Now if a team's car isn't fast enough maybe they shouldn't be allowed in the races (sucks to be a fan of HRT ... then again do they actually have any fans?), but what will happen if the front runners place some fast times that half the field can't match with the 107% rule?
but there will still be a lot of random variables and predicting winners before the races will not be easy. Unless of course one team/driver stand out above the rest. Here is hoping 2011 is as good as 2010 was. Time will tell. Gentlemen start your engines (LOL ... okay I know this is more of an Indy saying).

It's the same ****ty schedule as always for us in North America. I really need to get a DVR as this is killing my sleep schedule. Having said that, I stayed up till 3 am last night to watch practise and will do the same tonight with quali. Been waiting way too long for this season to start.

Genuinely cannot tell what I'm most impressed by:
1) The advantage Red Bull has (at least in the hands of SB).
-Unlike Mclaren who seem to have a brand new concept from last year, the RB7 seems to be an evolution of their last platform. IMO it's evolution, not revolution, that breeds consistency. I'd compare last year's car to the F2001 Ferrari, although that car had an easier time taking the title. I think this car, like the F2002, has the potential to be a destroyer of world's.
2) SB not bothering to use the KERS system and still being 8 tenths up on Lewis (if I even heard that correctly!)
- Either Webber really messed up, Seb has a different car altogether, or we are witnessing an ridiculous talent at work. I think it's factors 1 and 3 at work here.
3) Mclaren, getting it oh so wrong during the winter, then coming up with solutions on the run to close the gap.
- Gone are the days of John Barnard, Gordon Murray, and Adrian Newey at Mclaren where they showed up to tests with the best car. But what an unbelievable development team...not sure Ron would approve though. They're gonna need help though.

I think Kobayashi and rookie Sergio Perez making Sauber look competitive, and Di Resta in the mix, I think that we are in for a really good F1 season. Not to say that Vettel should be worried about any of them

I watched Martin Whitmarsh on BBC right after Q3 who said that KERS wasn't working on Lewis's car at the end. Not only does he lose the potential .3 sec but it messes up his brake balance as well. Not that he would've been faster than Seb, but still, not bad for a car that was pretty much written off as a competitor until yesterday.
