I’m absolutely dumbfounded by this…. I've met/know most of the folks involved, all wonderful people. I can only imagine the heartwrenching grief everyone is experiencing. Im very happy to see that most folks here on RL are respecting the gravity of this, and not nit picking every detail as we tend to do with lesser events.
You are all in mine and my families prayers.

This is a sad day. If anyone knows the details of the funeral, please pm me. I would like to attend to show my support for the family. I think we all should come. Let's offer our love and support.

I think that's a great idea!
I'd also like to say that we need to leave Dell alone. He's grieving for a friend, trying to deal with this, his first attempt at assistant CI and maybe even coming to grips with one's own mortality and the fact that he has instructed in this very car (as well as other details related to that).
We lost one of our own.......a sad day indeed

I just received word of this tragic event and had to chime in here and offer my condolences. I was actually planning on attending this event but the timing wasn't right for me. I know there's a risk in these activities but you don't fully realize until something of this magnitude happens. Again, my condolences to all involved and indirectly affected.

Dunno. I got it as part of my PCA membership since I'm in that region, but the author asked me to remove the post after seeing it here. I assume there will be some kind of other post made about it all that was intended to be more public than what I got. Emotions are still high on this one for the affected parties, so let's give them some room to sort it all out.

Matt....I'll ping you offline. The info was just released for Carolinas members about one of our own to update the members. However, we are not sure if it is the public statement we are authorized to post in a public forum. As soon as we hear back from (already have a call in for clarification on dissemination) Harvey, we will get the info out.
