It seems a logical addition considering how long Porsche has been racing. I was quite surprised the Corvette was done 1st, though I assume there is more to it (permissions/license?) that just modeling the car.

crap - missed the notice. I was trying to fit into my schedule all weekend to race with the SRFs at the Glen - cup config. Finally got a chance Sunday night only to have a guy two cars in front of me start the race in reverse...... I wasn't on my feet enought to not run into the guy in front of me.

Anyone that desires to race with us can PM me their email and i'll send out an email blast to the "Rookie" group of the schedule as soon as I come up with it. Next one may require a purchase, it will be either Road Atlanta (SHORT) or Sebring (CLUB) in TDI Cups. If there is resistance maybe do Summit Point Jefferson (reverse). Trying to keep the tracks as short, yet fun and challenging, as possible. Always open to suggestions!

Will PM. Also, if you have a PayPal, I'd be more than willing to chip in. I didn't realize it cost to host races.

Appreciate the offer Charlie, it's all good for now. There are times when guys want to do a 2nd quick race with no practice and a quick qualifier, those I will pass hosting on to the next volunteer..

Congrats to John Clay for a well run, honest 1st place at Limerock last night! The old "ya gotta finish to win" adage was never more true, I turned a 37 second lead into 2nd place by hooking the downhill curb and requiring a tow after whacking the tire wall. It was an open race so we had a lot of "outsiders" to make it interesting. Had a good time, thanks to the guys that showed up (and to the ones that didn't but let me know in advance).

Just uploaded the replay file - http://www.mediafire.com/file/z1trx5...RP_3-30-10.rpy

Tortoise and the hair baby. I was expecting some sort of celebratory screaming from my spotter computer dude when I crossed start/finish, but he said nothing. No virtual kisses from grid girls either. It was rather disapointing.
