Hey Vito - sorry for clipping ya on the straight at the end of lap 1. I got some suspension damage at the start, and was having a bit of trouble keeping it in a straight line.

The black flags for the corkscrew are pretty annoying - I don't think you can really gain time going agro there.

 

Good race Charlie! Better stick those pedals down cause that was your one new guy "gimme" at the end!

Must say as much as I like the TDI I don't like it at that track.. I actually like the SRF better there. Current SRF race is at the Glen in Cup config, think that may be out next outing, almost 1 minute per lap shorter to keep groups together. Not sure if TDI or SRF at this point. Tomorrow is Kevin's race at Zandevoot, a beautiful new track..

 

Thanks, Gary. I actually lost the pedals when I slammed on the brakes after going over the sand in the corkscrew and getting a black flag - you shoulda had 2nd. Didn't realize until afterward that you could've had the pass but gave me that one. My apologies.

And congrats to Tom! That was a fantastic race, and a faster lap than any of us with the benefit of practice and qualifying turned.

 

I apparently got a bunch of laps removed for not serving a black flag. I had a nice low 144 that would have at least made me feel better about myself disappear. I received a Black flag at the final turn onto the front straight on lap two and never could get it to go away until it was too late and then crashed into the pits being a dingbat. Fun stuff. I really don't mesh well with Seca on the game at all. Car doesn't matter, although the Solstice is exceptionally wretched.

 

Thanks for letting me play! I've definitely noticed that no curbs are friends of the Jetta, so I try not to hit any curbs with it at all.
