The Mclaren plan:

"Heikki - make yourself useful and cover me. i need a big lead before the first pits so be sure you're in second. - hold off those other guys!"

Interesting how Heikki 'blew' the last corner.

Do they have 'private' radio comm to the drivers.
Something like Heikki, you're P1. Go slow on the last corner.

Not that there are any team driver preferences.

I'm super happy for Rubens! However what a freakin' boring race! I do not think there was 1 single pass. I know F1 is king on this forum but I bet tonight during the Indy Infineon race you will see more racing.

Interesting how these conspiracy's only seem to come up when Lewis is involved.

When McLaren messed up Lewis's pitstop... the race turned into a parade.

You do see "more racing" with the Indy cars, and once in a while a

"long shot" wins.

LOL...

Yes especially when Brawn's covert activity is so blatant and never acknowledged

I have always liked and respected Rubens as a driver and as someone with class. I even picked him for WDC this year. Maybe it is not too late?

Speaking of that, did you notice that Hamilton never, ever denigrated the job that his pit crew did, even when pressed. He even pushed back, saying that this was maybe only the 2nd time that his pitstop was less than stellar in the entire time that he has been with McLaren. And that if it weren't for the hard work and dedication of his team over this season, that he wouldn't even have been in a position to take 2nd place today. That too is a class act (at least for today).

Great job Rubens. Can't find a better guy to win.

Renault blew their leader's pitstop last race.
Mac blows lead car pitstop this race.
Time for more pitstop schooling.

So could Bourdais or Nelsinho been less of an F1 driver than Luca.
At least Milka is easy on the eyes. Not sure what Luca brings to F1.

So nobody enjoyed the pitlane pass of Luca by Grosjean.
Crossing the white line just added insult to injury.

Just a guess, but I'm assuming that giving Luca an F1 start (or two) was perhaps Ferrari's way of saying 'thank you' for all his testing work over the years, especially given their lack of involvement in either the Constructors or Drivers championship.

Yup, I noticed that. Despite the low-blow question from the interviewer, Lewis didn't throw anyone uunder the bus. Kudos!
