I willl defer to my son for his experience with Terry his first DE weekend...oh wait Don you have never pulled in to the paddock, left your car running, your helmet and hans on to request a "meeting" after a lawn mowing incident. God I wish I was runing video for that. In general we have a great group of guys we hang with. For me it is about the cars, but also the people and the lies about cars.

Rog, Im sure it's all good but we appreciate you leaving the door cracked a little open on this

Not me. There's a long list of events that have happened within the fences of VIR for which I am very happy there is no video: Spins, high speed offs, spins, spoilers plowing, spins, firemans carry spins, spins, swimmin' pools... Keep the names withheld to protect the guilty.

Any suggestions on a good hotel? Just need something reasonable with good track/food access. Family isn't coming.

I've always stayed in Danville, I think that's about as close as you can get without staying at the track. There is a thread on the NASA Mid Atlantic forum where someone is looking for a roomate for one of the condo's by the climbing esses.

I'm doing this one on the cheap and will be sleeping in the trailer since it is supposed to cool off at night.

Upgrade to an enclosed. Of course you may then need a new tow vehicle

Yep, that's the problem. Hummer is already straining to pull now with it's crappy 5 speed auto gear box.

I have a BMW M3 very nice race car ... but cant seem to get it finished being fixed!!!! not really my engineers fault not his problem kinda out of his control, ..i think he is doing what he can to expedite , just bunch typical BS you get from suppliers/ vendors... but i am just about to loose it! i need to drive.. even considering building a spec boxster so at least drive something..

Just would like a straight honest answer... you know what i mean?
