Guys,
If you are really interested in a fast, fun car, we are going to be putting ours up for sale. Many of you have seen the car at VIR.
We have moved our business in a new direction and have not had time to put the car on the track for well over a year. I don't see this changing anytime soon.
I have owned this car since it was new, so it's hard to let it go. I'd rather see it go to someone who will have fun with it rather than seeing it sit idle in the garage. It needs exercise.
We are selling the car with an open Trailex trailer (that we've also had since new), so you get a combined package for the track.
Specs:
Body: 1985 911 .
Weight: 2, 375 lbs with a 1/2 tank of gas.
Motor: 3.4 liters; nearly 300 hp on 100 octane fuel; many internal racing components; recently rebuilt with approximately 1 hour's use.
Transmission: 915; newly rebuilt with 0 hours; limited slip with short 3rd,4th, and 5th; Wevo shifter.
Suspension: front — 22mm hollow torsion bars; rear — 30mm torsion bars; 22mm adjustable sway bars front and rear; custom Bilstein shocks; Smart Racing solid engine mounts; corner balanced and aligned.
Auto Power crossed-braced racing roll bar.
Wheels & Tires: Fikse Profil 5S; fronts 8.5 x 18; rears 9.5 x 18; mounted with Hoosier R6s.
Brakes: Big Reds.
Car needs nothing.
Price: $33,500 with open Trailex trailer.
For more information: call Arnie at 919-643-3036 east coast before 9 p.m.
