Very good first post, informative, concise, and nothing but the facts.

Well done ma'am.

How long before the photo is removed from the Suncoast PCA site? Two pages? Six pages?

wow, i sure am glad the potomac region is more tolerant of 'personalities'... otherwise my *** would've been booted long time ago

umm... my region can beat up your region? errr.. that's not it...my region is cooler than your region?

behavior that by some *may* be viewed as aggressive driving is always seen as a no-no in a de. it doesn't help if your car sticks out like a sore thumb. i suggest you pick yourself up a silver 996-shaped object. you'll blend right in

Tom, let it go. Banned for life... Nah... things will change. Maybe not now, but in time they will. Till then don't worry about it. Like I said earlier life is too short to worry about stuff like this. Quite frankly you a racer now and to some that is a threat. That means that you are going to dive bomb and wreck everyone. Just see what happens went a Spec Miata guy shows up at PCA event. Everyone probably thinks he is going to takeout the field. Ha.. it is fear mostly.

Now your driving could be a bit aggressive at a DE. Sadly that happens. It is hard to tone things donw for a DE and you maybe keeping all safe and well with in your limits most DE guys are not realy for that. There are place I have raced 3 wide flat out in turns. Heck there are things I have done with other very expereinced and skilled 944 spec racers that would cause code brown for may PCA guys. So toning that down is tough. I could tell you about the time I went side by side into a tight right 180 lopper with a 65 911 in a PCA DE. I was in my 944 spec and the driver of 65 911 was another spec guy with a 3rd spec racer in the pass seat. Ha.. Fun stuff, but a little over the top for a DE. Yeah we got told to "play nice" and the finger waved at us. Of course whe DE leader who talked to us was a former racer too so he knew both of were in 100% control, but also that it was not really appropriate for DE. Ahh... well

In many ways going back to DE after racing is driving home after a day at the track. You have skills to do alot on track, but if you get caught you have alot "explaining" to do and in the end you are still getting in trouble. So you just back it down and take the fun out of it a bit. I will say the most frustrating part of a DE in my 944 race car these days is not being able pass in a corner when you have some big hp slow car in front you. 1-2 seconds in corner is all it takes to get by and to do so cleanly, but you simply are now "allowed". So you are stuck either waiting or need to pull in. In race test and tune if the car infront is too slow you just pass him and move on. Never an issue.

I cant imagine why they would do that since you've handled it in such a professional and adult manner!
