No problem Bob. With my moto of no racer left behind, I am resolved to make sure the truth is known. Sure, there are some that just dont care, but there are a few who do. Just look. A couple still dont get it. We can save them!

Hey, its all in all in the sake of fun too. It is very cheap entertainment!

Are you talking at the rear tires, and therefore at the pavement, or at the engine. After reading the links, you might just find that a given HP will determine the torque at the rear wheels at any speed, not engine torque.

Take a look at those two HP/torque graphs of two engines both with the same hp yet, one has 60ft-lbs less engine torque? in all areas the lower torque engine would out perform the higher torque engine.

You must have missed the 20+ pages of the original thread. Unfortunately, you are not alone.

This is a public service announcement. For those of us who are unable to understand the questions, and the relevance (of which there are many), I have, once again, taken the liberty of translating the post to Chinese and back to English. As you can see, it makes far more sense this way.

We have 20+ debate page about the HP importance to the road race automobile's torque. It is a battle finally, with some comedy. Now, before they have posted their view, is possessing these pages and from person's some examination later I respects. (i.e. Chris C., Magmus and so on) we never truly have VR (and Co.) conceed. Therefore, does not start from race's season in some more days, and I like looking that the clean ending, I will calculate me to make these public opinion poll here in the name list. Is good? Public opinion poll. Or " Who won debate" Public opinion poll.

VR said: the mark, for politeness, my you are merely not correct, and said the higher TQ vehicle--Other condition same words--Will be usefully in the road route. the primitive question is like the explanation by VR:

anything started this topic is Dez' Two same 400hp automobile wuld is good because of the road route's inquiry? One and low TQ or with high TQ? Whether you in fact did say low TQ one can be is good because of the road route? Was you in fact says " Its depends" ? answered that in all road race route compared to the proof, it is decided by the HP curve shape, and other have compare dyno to run are two equal horsepower automobiles, but with a more torque lower torque engine may be better, in willfully time accelerates to be quicker. Before it turns punctures fiercely fest, answered that is found in the 17th page.

http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...eality- 17.html

actual dyno graph: the http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...5-post246.html final answer proved: whether http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...eality-20.html

therefore it does depend upon? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

You may now go back to your regular task of beating a very dead horse.
