View Poll Results: Who won the debate: MK (HP) or VR (Torque)
Mk won with a simple to understand concept that HP determines torque at the wheels at any speed.
25
17.48%
MK won: When comparing equal HP cars, the one with less torque COULD be better on the road course.
6
4.20%
VR won: When comparing equal HP cars, the one with more torque is better on a road course.
44
30.77%
Neither, as physics dont apply to race cars

12.59%
I don't want to open this can of worms again!

pretty bold for a guy that cant do basic math.

How about this. Here is an idea. why dont you tell us why you think you are right and I am wrong.

Ive already given you the numbers, so has Dez, now its your turn to back it up or shut it.

[QUOTE=Veloce Raptor;6391159]Nope. Wrong again, as usual, Mark.

Peace out!

See you on the track!

LOL! Geez, that's, uh, somewhat delusional. Didn't you already say that several hundred posts ago in another thread? I'll believe it when I see it.

Edit - Crap, you posted before I could even post that you were not finished as you say.

Hilarious.

It wasnt about the Poll, it was a curiousity of who actually got it!

pretty interesting results. I could have pegged the "I dont care'ers" or the cards that selected "physics doesnt have a role in racing". I was a little surprised at the outcome of the Poll. Didnt realize so many are uneducated in areas of basic racing physics. Dont shoot the messenger here. You are the one that keeps on saying, "more torque gets you out of the corners better".

VR, for the last time, its Torque, at the rear tires and it can be higher with a car with less engine torque, PERIOD.

Get it?? Didnt think so. carry on!

Pretty bold for a guy whom no one seems to want to hire for any on-track "expertise."

Keep flailing and furiously backpedaling, cupcake.

And tell us again why all those folks who answered YOUR POLL in a way that did not tell you that you were "right" are "wrong". That was pretty funny, and I'd like to see if I can taunt you into posting it again.

Not for hire VR, unless the price is right.

Now, are you going to answer the question? quit darting around it.

How can Dez's example favor the higher torque engine ? Can the lower torque engine outperform it with the same shaped HP curve, which Ive already proved, IS a possibility?

How can you call yourself a coach if you dont even understand the basics?

I would love to see you in one of our races. Short shifting to find max torque!!

You will never answer the question, because you JUST - DONT - KNOW the answer!

Now, back to your senseless, childish bashing, and humorous pictures.

You are wrong. It is STEAM that makes popcorn. Pressure alone would only split the outer starch hull.

Never really thought about it that much.

Good point . You are right!

I stand corrected!

But, it is the pressure, not the vacuum that does the work.

Nice try Boy Mark, but very weak even for you!

I have been posting throughout the day. It appears that, once again, you are so enamored with yourself that you just didn't see them, like so many other things people are zinging over your head. Keep flapping your gums Markie.

Spot on. Chest bumpin and high5in' tends to win but win what and at what cost?

Only a fool like you would actually take the results of this ridiculous "Poll" that you posted to mean anything relating to anyone being "uneducated in the areas of basic racing physics...." The answers to this poll were designed to do exactly what was accomplished...make the Side Show Boy perform!

^^^^^ Oh, the incredible irony. ^^^^^

Sorry that the price never gets above $0 for you, Mark.

Regarding short shifting...why would I? Torque gets me out of the corner, horsepower gets me speed. That you seem clueless to this basic FACT of racing is not surprising..

I would love to race you, Mark. I would love to see the endless stream of excuses when you get your *** handed to you...coming out of corners. Shades of the YouTube classic "I was seventh!!!".

Now, tell us again about why you race with your right hand rested on the gear shift lever. That was good for almost a week of yoru backpedaling.
