LOL! I think that's only if you buy their unobtanium $$$$$ calipers, too.

Which are freaking AWESOME.

Yes. Have you used their unobtanium brake fluid? OMG, its insane. Boiling point of 9x10^12C. That's hawt.

Dood, that **** makes MAD torque. And you know that torque wins DE's.

9 times out of 10!

To add some seriousness for just a second...

I ran 97's in the rsr at Barber during a 90 minute enduro on a saturday and then on sunday I changed pads on found that I was out of 97's and only had 01's. I was ABS'ing in 1 and 5 where on Saturday with the 97's I never hit the ABS, even with a slight mist falling during the race. I have switched back to 97's. What's the difference in the 06's from the 97's?

RSR? You have an RSR and only now are you telling me?

Where the f*ck is my invite to drove it, biatch??? I loves me Barber!!!!

Maybe you were ABSing because of the more aggressive initial bite of the 01's. You really don't need as much brake pressure to accomplish the same negative speed delta.

06's are an endurance version of the 01's. Much longer lasting & even more benign to rotors.

Seth which pagids are you comparing to?

The only pagids I really liked were the black. The yellows are way over-rated IMO though they do last a long time, but they aren't great at all. In fact I got more use from the blacks than the yellows and most of that time was at barber which is pretty hard on the brakes.

But now that I see this, PFC is definitely on the radar. Where is the best place to get the PFC pads?

Seth, You mention that your pad comparison was PFC-01 vs Pagid RS-19? The two pads are not targeted for the same environment are they? I had always thought that the PFC-01 was a sprint type pad and I know the Pagid RS-19 / 29 are the endurance pad. There is a large difference between them and the Pagid RS-14 which I think would be a better comparison to the PFC-01. Did I skim through your writeup too quickly?

That makes sense. When I drive it again I will have to compare all three compounds to see which ends up feeling better and adjust my braking style accordingly.

I don't think you can switch back from Performance Friction back to Pagid without resurfacing the rotors.

Better yet: let ME drive it, and I can give you a complete, detailed report.

Well....not sure, to be frank. I was planning to be at Road Atlanta over July 4th weekend, but that is a low probability maybe at this point. If I have to go to Philly again to wrap up my mom's estate (when her house eventually sells), I will likely stay a while, and maybe rent a car & drive up to the Glen!!

Unless someone wants me to be there for their benefit... and I can make a special trip.

Would there ever be a case where that would be true??

Let me know when you'll be out this way, maybe we can connect.

LOL...well, my signature line is below for a reason. Seth and I are blessed with a growing roster of clients, so yes, it would be true!

Will do, would love to meet as many folks from here as possible. Already know Larry, much to his chagrin.
