Agreed.

I will also do a write-up of the 06's when I mount them, in comparison to the 01's that I have been using for several years.

Dave, why are people still using the 97's instead of the 01's or 06's?

Any major differences?

The PFC97s cause more rotor wear, torque curve is lower than the others, doesn't have the longevity of either. Basically the 01 and 06 is the next step in improving the 97. Basically the 01s and 06s took what customers didn't like about the 97s and improved them. The 01s were better brakes than the 97s and the 06s are a step up from the 01s.

Is there a plan to make the '06 in more sizes? I used 97's, now use '01 front '97 rear, but would like to try the '06 if possible. I don't see it for an S4 caliper though

Mike, I suspect that PFC will make the 06's for all the same fitments as the 01's. Don't know for certain, but business growth demands it.

Paolo-01's may not be available in your size. IIRC you have 930 brakes, same pads I need. I've been told they are special order.

I plan to use 97's again...I'd like a little more bite (no power assist here) but I have no other complaints with 97's.

Because 01's aren't available in many sizes. You can't get the 01's for the 964 for instance.

I forgot where I bought my PF97's for my 2007 Carrera S. I think they came from OG Racing but not sure.

Anyone know of PF01 or PF06 will fit on my 2009 Carrera S (997S) and where to buy them.

Which is the correct pad for my car? The Performance Friction site still says PF97 for DE track days but everyone here is raving about the PF01 or 06 pads.
