Kurt, it was very cold this past week-end at the track, and that doesn't even include the snow....... plus I don't count because it was my first time there, with streeet tires and no driving skills......
but I actually timed some of the Black run group drivers and not very many could claim 1:27s........
maybe it was just the time of the year.....

All kidding aside, it was a little dicey for most of the sessions so best times were unattainable. The other factor is POT runs white alone so there is not as much traffic and more clear track to keep your momentum.
All bragging aside, it is the home track so you should expect a little quicker pace just as I would at the Glen if I ran with the local club. I don't run 27's but I'm working on it.
If you have any doubts SIGN UP FOR BLUE!

Just messing with you Paolo I will fess up to some true and laughable times as a bench mark of the rockbottom of the Potomac Black group. I get run over in White and would likely get passed some in blue too. I do 1:34 in "Yawn its a DE, there is no one around me except the GT3 that is about to pass me" mode and 1:32 to a high 1:31 in "I gotta catch or stay away from that guy!" mode. 2200# 69 912, 90 HP, 70 at the ground, used racer cast off Hoos, plastic bushings otherwise standard stuff suspention, last line up was 4 years ago. Thise are old track numbers as I have not been on the new surface yet. I hear it is good for 2 seconds. No excuses, I am chicken in some corners and slow overall. If I was on my game I could get through T10 with perhaps a slight lift at the most but my foot hits the brake every time.

paolo is getting hustled. std procedure.
"what have you done to your car?" - oh, it's mostly stock
"what do you have in the back?" - it's just an old 2.0 w/ zeniths. (ie: twin plugg'd 2.8rsr spec motor)
"i'm gonna be slow, i've never been here before" - me too, i only watched videos (of my own 3 separate enduros)

I'm looking forward to hearing from Paolo about all the stock carreras running 1:27's in white. From the sounds of things just about all of them do in Potomac, especially with the track being 1-2 seconds faster. I would imagine a bunch of 1:25's will be busted out as well.
