How could I possibly neglect to mention you and Speedy Louise? We do miss you. Why don't you two come down to VIR and run with us Southern Folk. It's a fabulous track, and I think you will find it offers many of the same challenges as LCMT and Mosport. Plus, there are some really fast guys here, so you would have plenty of fun running with the likes of Dell, Chris, and a host of others. 
The restaurants may not rival Mont-Tremblant, but the track does, and the people are a lot of fun. You might even find some moonshine if you wre lucky.While you are snow bound up there in la belle Québec, we are enjoying daffodils down here!

Paolo, I won't hesitate to hook up with Bob. It's ALWAYS great to have another fellow instructor/advanced driver in the car. We can ALWAYS use instruction no matter how well we can handle ourselves on track and I only get better with seat time and taking in critiques from my peers.

There is nothing greater than watching my wife on the track pass guys at will and have drivers come up to me and say "damn, you were flying out there" for me to say......"sorry, that was my wife that passed you"
At any rate, back in those days when we were running Road America, LCMT, Mosport, The Glen, etc., Arnie had a BIG smile on his face when guys would come up to him and compliment him on the great run.
"That wasn't me; that was Margo. Go tell her; she's over there changing the brake pads." He loved to see the expressions on the guys' faces when they would take in not only that a woman had passed them, but that she was involved in the car maintenance as well. They would then come over to me and say, "Nice driving!"
I would look up at them, saying, "Gee, thanks. I'm really new at this, so that really means a lot!"
It was always fun, because there were a lot of other women drivers who were rooting for me and got a big kick out of that line.
So, ladies, let's see more of you out there. You can do it, too!

Thanks Dell. Margo and Arnie, I would love to get to VIR, I am so fed up of the freaking snow... in spite of being a skier. Shipping the cars down there would be an issue though. No way we can drive there under these conditions.
Louise says Hi. She is up to her usual standards and last season I had an experience similar to Arnie's when a fellow instructor came up and said "wow you were fast that session". I said, "uh, that wasn't me, Louise was driving my car while I get new tires for hers." Some guys HATE being passed by a woman. I think it is great and we do need more of them. FWIW Rennsport now has four lady instructors, visible for their good looks and the pink instructor shirts.
