Default Rennsport III Report Thread

We made it! Yesterday was a long trip from the West Coast with the alarm going off at 3:30am then flights, Bend - Salt Lake - Orlando, then drive to Daytona. It was windy and raining last night. This morning there are rain squalls in the area, but the wind has died down and it isn't raining at the track right now. Humid and in the 70's. Forecast is for the weather to get better for the weekend. Brian Redman was at the table next to us at dinner last night.

We will be heading to the track soon to register and start checking out some cars. Photos later.

I have a "suite" reserved at the Residence Inn across the street from the track. I'm just doing a day trip, so if anyone needs a room just PM me. The room is $159 for the night and the hotel is right across the street from the track. One night only.

Stormy day, more wind and some big rain squalls. Here is my first group of shots, I got a little carried away with the prototypes. Copyright Mark Powell 2007.

Drove up from Jupiter today in constant rain and wind all the way. We looked like a dog wagging his tail all the way up. We are pitted in Garage # 60. Just look for the Bluemaxx Racing 996 and come by and say hello.

Did they ever get the group photo taken? Right after we left the track at around 4:30 pm it started raining.

We're at the RI also.

Autographs should be pretty easy, the crowds weren't that crazy last time.
