I think the 911 got 3rd overall. They either changed engines or rebuilt their engine on Friday, and still got 3rd. The other amazing thing to me, was that a Honda Civic won overall. I went over to see what the heck kind of engine was in it, but he never opened the hood after the race. It was one fast car.

The 911 finished second , No they did not change the engine , but had to repair an oil leak that developed when the head temp sensr went bad, That plus some on track damages set them back and gave the honda da Victory......

The other car did pretty well, got 5th in ITS. Hated to miss Rennsport, especially since we did so lousy. Just stumbled around, getting in a lot of people's way. Real bummer. In retrospect, should have spectated at Daytona.

Oh well

I remember seeing 4 in the race in group 2.

Amen brother! You sure did eat your Wheaties on Sunday Leh. You ate those guys up. Incredible driving on your part. Thanks for the "How To Go REALLY Fast!" clinic.

I'll have video clips posted shortly. I'm still in Central Florida as I'm participating on the HSR races this weekend.

Great pics but what "no pictures of me???" I ended 7th overall and 1st 2 liter (we'll perhaps 2nd as Hurley is listed as a 2 liter...).

Nice seeing you guys up there!

Bill;
Very few 944s were there - most looked to be ITS cars and highly modded. I'd agree with Techno, about 4-5 cars total.

That was you?

I should've known, we were in infield T3 and me & MJ were commenting on #1 996 RSR's driving: "there's someone who hauls *** and uses the whole track" as most of the guys were nowhere near of using the whole track there. We didn't check the times but most of the guys in your group were way off the line and looked slow but #1 was hauling it, glad to hear it was you!

I'm not sure if Juha has any pics of you from Friday but unfortunately he won't have any pics from Saturday (the night before drinking took it's toll...)

Juan--here you go--in and out of Turn 5. This was on Friday when it was really overcast...I'll be at the HSR event next weekend. Don't know which corner, but I"ll get some pics of you! Great drive!

Leh--I instructed one of my workers at Turn 5 (not flagging your race) to concentrate on taking pictures of you/your car during the race. As soon as he forwards them to me I'll post them and forward them to you.

Good to know we can spot a fast driver even after having some beverages...

Juan,

You were looking good all weekend. There were so many cars to see, I simply could not look up to find the Rennlisters there. I had my face buried in the camera all weekend, or was intently watching the racing.

Great job of droving fast!

Toby
