You only instructed Boston in the Cayman...... time to do a check out ride.....
I'm trying to ditch my snow tires, so I won't be there in November. However, I'll be there in April again with NNJR.

See you in April, although snows might be optional then too....

Work it out for yourself... (944T 'stock' vs. 944T and one of the top 944S2s)

(if the video is not up yet it's because I just posted it....give it a few minutes) I'll remove it later if it is too imflamatory.

Looks to me like the white Turbo driver was quite a bit slower going into and through the corner, and all he had to do was to put his right foot down, and he drove away from the red 944.

The defense rests.

I just discovered this thread. and I'm a turbo driver...the best thing about a single turbo is when you lay into the gas just before apex, then the boost hits and your sideways all the way till you straighten it out and click the next gear for the rush to continue. As a driver I now thats now where near the fastest way around but on a trackday, it does make for the funnest. Norm! its been awhile, good to see your still around here. Have you been out to camden lately in your shifter? if you ever need a co-driver give me a call. lol

Take a high HP turbo driver and stick him in an equally prepared N/A car and chances are he will be faster than the original N/A driver. Driving a high HP turbo car requires respect, finesse, and a smooth right foot. I remember when I used to take my Honda Accord to lapping days...real tough to drive...just hold the throttle on the floor and steer...maybe use the brakes every once in a while.

Stick a N/A guy in a big turbo car and I bet he will be slow cause he's so skeered of all that power.

Let's also note that the car from which the video originated is actually a Turbo S running in E, not a Turbo running in F. In case one wants to boil this down to driver ability, note that the drivers in the video car and the red S2 have finished really high in sprints and enduros over the last 2 years...

Quick Reply: Are turbo drivers just that more talented......
