^ If he was holding a bag of Swedish fish while sipping on an espresso, it would be perfection (and of course no hands on the wheel cause it’s a self-driving truck!)
I can PCA have an espresso cart available to all club racers? The barista can issue wristbands to each participate before they enter the track. Seems the most logical thing to do at this point.
Good way to keep drivers from falling asleep during races!
I just figured this out. Luigi is full of BS and was actually banned from racing in this series https://www.banditseries.com/ Or maybe his version of PCA is the Peterbuilt Club of America and the DOT standard is reasonable?
I can't believe this is still going. I'm pretty sure Club Racing still falls under the EC and they could end this if they wanted to.

Already registered! Driving both my 991.1 and 911CUP.
I did it last year and it is a really awesome event.
I ran for 30 minutes on the treadmill this morning and noticed that my peak heart rate of 138 bpm was 6 bpm higher than my peak heart rate during the PCA VIR enduro on March 23.
Has anyone ever felt like they were going to fall asleep while running on a treadmill?
The medical committee continues to make PCA racers with sleep apnea comply with the DOT truck driver standards because we "might fall asleep" while driving. Despite the fact that there is zero correlation between truckers and racers, and there is zero medical evidence that I will fall asleep while racing, the medical committee remains determined to stick to their position rather than admit they don't know what they are talking about.
The next PCA race I would attend is at WGI in about 6 weeks. If PCA doesn't let me out of "medical committee jail" than I will just run the HSR race instead.
It has now been 60 days since this ordeal started and I remain suspended.
