Hrmpfh, despite all the hoping, Red Bull & MV have so much in reserve that after the first 10 seconds he was already load and risk managing and kept that up to the end. One can only imagine what he’s capable of if he were challenged. I don't see any team getting anywhere close to MV in race trim in the next few races at least.

One of my old friends has a son that owns part of Alpine. Hopefully they can improve.

Must be a new record for quitting… this just crossed the wire

Alpine is facing more trouble, as F1 technical director Harman and head of aerodynamics de Beer have resigned.

But they're staying on for the first few races? Very odd.

Maybe he's resigning because of that fat front wing LOL.

Seriously F1, you expect us to do reruns every Sunday 2024?

Yawn, unwatchable.

Alpine is facing more trouble, as F1 technical director Harman and head of aerodynamics de Beer have resigned.
From Autosport:But as well as the on-track difficulties, the French manufacturer is now facing the prospect of a major reshuffle of its technical department with the looming loss of technical director Matt Harman and head of aerodynamics Dirk de Beer.

Sources have indicated that they both handed in their resignations last month before the team travelled to Bahrain.

While resignations of such senior figures often trigger an immediate move to gardening leave, it is understood that both are continuing in their roles for the foreseeable future, with Harman present trackside in Bahrain.

There has been no official confirmation about the developments by Alpine though, with a team spokesman issuing a firm 'no comment' on the matter.

I thought it was good from P2 to about P10. We only saw about 2 minutes of P1
First race but I can't help wondering if Ferrari is thinking "What have we done?" wrt Sainz/Lewis...
I was psyched for this race, I watched a good portion of it on my exercise bike with my helmet on

I have some French ancestry and Alpine's performance, or lack there of, offends me.

So unorthodox. Poor Pierre Gasly, his punching above his weight is not going to be showcased this year and I'm sure Ocon is on the phone to his former boss Toto for a seat fitting.

No love for Sergio Perez, who actually looked like an F1 driver in his first race of 2024?

Aston Martin appear to have taken a small step backwards as they now look mid-pack.

WTF is up with Yuki? Can a Japanese driver do whatever he wants so long as Honda is involved?

This kind of stuff is an example of how Verstappen is better than everyone else:

I guess the hush money wasn’t enough to make the problem go away. 🤣. Also like how they barely showed Homer in the box every time they flashed to RB race control during the race. I am sure RB told the media to stay away from him.

What a boring a$$ race.
