HAM should be calling the FIA president and complaining MAG wasn't suspended because he is black. I mean if Alonso can do it on nationality, why can't he do it on race. MAG has become a clown out there.

This is hilarious. It’s where all the drivers would go to college and why. STR might be the funniest.

Magnussen knows exactly what he is doing. Says the rules should be changed.

Not too many people had issues with this when Bottas did I it to help Hamilton win a WDC.

"All the penalties were well deserved - no doubt about it" - - - Magnussen told SkySports F1"

I started using these stupid tactics which I don't like doing, but at the end of the day I did my job as a team player and Nico scored his points because I got that gap for him so Lewis and Tsunoda couldn't catch him.

"Not the way I like to go racing at all, but it was what I had to do today."

Lewis Hamilton: Kevin Magnussen's honest explanation for 'stupid tactics' in Miami GP Sprint 'pretty cool' | F1 News | Sky Sports

I don't see how that's comparable? Was Bottas going off track on purpose to cause others behind him to slow down? Did he cause a wreck?

If you're able to slow those behind you down by still driving within the rules, staying on track, and not causing an accident, then great teammate.

That's not what MAG did. Literally no one is taking his side after this weekend and how he drove.

I think you are splitting hairs but its your opinion.

Lewis seems fine with what Kevin did once he knew the reason.

Weird coincidence with Lewis going to NYU. I saw him in Manhattan right around Met Galla time a few years back. He was walking by Washington Square Park with his peeps. NYU is right there.

I am an NYU grad as well.

Round 7 will be at iconic Imola. Significant changes to the track run off should make it more difficult for those unable to stay on track (KMag). 😂

I think it’s actually because he inadvertently triggered a specific button or mode a couple of times at the start and it caused him to bog down; hence keeping his left hand up high on the steering wheel from a standing start.

I found a couple of on-line articles:

‘Because what you don't want to do is accidentally go down a gear so If you put your hand there, you can't go down a gear
. ' One of the suggestions for Hamilton's decision is that he favours a smaller gear shifting paddle to that of his fellow drivers and could be more prone to this issue’

One article mentioned Rosberg said the start is so violent that it was easy for Hamilton to accidentally trigger a downshift due to the smaller gear shift lever he uses

Absolutely cheating.

Covering this up.
