Sorry to see that Jason, it was totally avoidable on his end and certainly unnecessarily aggressive. No reason for this unless his throttle was stuck to the floor, which I doubt.. either way 100% his fault, you gave all the room there was to give.

That sucks, Jason. Great-looking car.
I was flagging at T1 and heard the call that a car went off in 6 and hit the tire wall hard. I was wondering how in the heck that could happen since it's a low-speed corner. Now I have my answer....

No - He stayed in the throttle and literally drove me into the wall. Never applied his brakes (notice they are perfectly visible in T5 and T6).
no understeer, no visible braking and a reasonably slow speed corner with plenty of room.... jeez..... without brake, throttle stick (or other) failure seems its really hard to defend that behavior......
i would be embarassed to face the stewards ....
best wishes fixing it. let me us know if I/we can help at all..

It appears the inside car, once the contact was initiated and the yaw increased dramatically for the outside car, went FULL power and pushed hard in the passenger side door, like the vertical stroke in a "T."
You can hear the inside car engine note get louder as plain as day between :20 and :22.5 seconds in the first video.
I don't know what was going through the inside car driver's mind, but something very different from what most drivers do, and especially what club level drivers do. May have been autonomic, even worse if so...

Maybe we should rename this WOW i just got nicked.
In the video there is plenty of room to the outside and if Clarke hit you your car would have gone to the outside but it doesn't. If you watch Clarke's car the rear goes to the right first so not over steer but being hit then the front goes left into you. You may also notice no brake lights, that is because when you guys came together it broke Clarke's control arm at the caliper mount wheel bearing area so now the brake line is broken and the caliper is now at the bottom the rotation, only being stopped by the emergency brake cable rapping around the axle and pulling everything in that area including the throttle with it and the brake lights work off of pressure no pressure no lights. Accusing him of maliciously driving you into the wall without all the facts is very bold of you -- you may not like Clarke but he is not that person.

Facts are facts. And the facts are clear as day.
He is precisely that kind of person - which is exactly what everyone in the paddock knows. You clearly have an agenda here, but I think it's a mistake to get involved and underhandedly lobby on behalf of your customer.
