Default I got Clake'd

Sprint One, Lap One, Turn Six.

I was struck by how many of you guys came by to check-in on me - thank you all - every single racer in my class; drivers I knew only casually; a shop with whom I never spent a single $ offered to help me load my car. Everyone offered their condolences. Everyone except the driver who caused this entire incident. After recounting the incident afterwards so many times, I simply started to say: "I got Clake'd." And everyone knew exactly what that meant.

Here's what that looks like ...

We all are capable of making mistakes. It's what we do after we make mistakes that exposes our true character to those around us.

You will rebuild it better, faster & strong. Send me a message when you will be working on it an I will be over to help. I also always have my spare car if you want to use it.

Well that's not a great way to end a race weekend - sorry to hear it happened. I take it you're OK, that's #1. Car fixable?

Clearly it was your fault for not having numbers that are big enough.

Isn't the guy that started the whole incident someone that is routinely on JoeT's case for not paying Stu??

If so, that seems just a bit hypocritical!

No - He stayed in the throttle and literally drove me into the wall. Never applied his brakes (notice they are perfectly visible in T5 and T6).

If he understeered he could have easily taken the foot of the gas and and even tap the brakes. What’s crazy, there’s no brake lights even after contact and all the way to the tire wall.

I was sorry to see the damage to your car. It is one of my favorite cars to check out in the paddock/pits. Glad you are OK though!

First let me say: glad you are ok... I was in the back of the pack and that looked like a hard hit...

I sincerely hope this is not true (even though at a casual glance it looks like it)... If true, this is criminal. I hope the stewards review and escate to proper authorities if that is deemed the cause..

Yes, he was 13nd. Again. He just came off 13/13. (Which is why I gave him so much room in the first place).

This is someone who should never have been given back the privilege of racing!
