That said...yesterday we learned there is a problem with our truck/tow vehicle. Can't figure out what the problem is so HOPEFULLY the mechanic can today (it randomly suddenly feels like we're driving over the warning gators on the sides of the road...then just mysteriously goes away...no rhyme or reason). Was hoping to be loading the car on the trailer today...looks like if they figure it out its going to be a late night (par for the course right?). Plan on doing the test day to do some set up with Trevor Dawe....we'll see....

That doesn't sound good Bob. I hope to see you there Thursday.

Weather still looking fabulous. Calling for very cool temps on Friday morning. Might be some track records primed to be broken then.

Hmmmm

mechanic can't figure out what's wrong. Local Porsche guys across the parking lot from our store said check ball joints. Waiting to hear if they did.
Oh...we'll be there...somehow...(he says with no plan B).
We went years with our car not working and causing us to miss events...now its the truck's turn to cause me stress....gotta love this sport!.

Enterprise and maybe others rent 3/4 and 1 ton trucks which you can use as plan B.

Long time Spec Miata racer at Summit wanting to switch to a Boxster. Is this event open to the public so I may take a look at the Spec Boxster class? Also looking for a street Boxster, 1999-2004.

Lee - come on down! While not "advertised as a spectator event" - we welcome guests!

Thanks Evan and Hunt for getting chalk on your hands. Looking forward to learning the track first hand tomorrow

I came out on Friday. Great day to be outside and around cars.

I witnessed the totaled Boxster crash in Turn 5. Felt really bad for the guy.

I have no idea why they put metal barriers there and took out the tires!!! I even asked that to myself before the crash! Worst place to not have protection!

Congrats to Scott B for his 1st SPB win! When interviewed he was asked about his win over Hunt, to which he replied "it was particularly satisfying since this is Hunt's home track". A savage beatdown over the loud speaker system!

The driver tried to take the Chute flat out, it didn't end well. He showed me the video, the hit was really hard. Car is history, but he will build another.
