With him and our resident expert on all things things here in this same thread, things could be amazing. Unfortunately, this is a great thread idea and there are lots of useful contributors who could contribute but won't because of where this inevitably has to head.

p.s. I'm sorry you're losing TWS. Summit Point is "home" to me and it would be super weird if it suddenly was gone.

excellent template for those that want to aspire to drive reasonably fast and safe. there is a reason the "fast" drive like this!

He is getting better, no question about that. But there are still scary moments (speaking as a current instructor and former PCA racer).

I'm looking fwd to the next batch of video(s) that we'll see in a few days...

I think there's a fork in the road - whether he gets more 'traditional' in his style, or whether things escalate to the point of a shunt. (Long story but that's the word that Brumos wanted to use during Rennsport 1 at Lime Rock, wrt Paul Newman when I approached them with some video of the incident with his orange 914). Personally, I really hope for the former, vs the latter...

Through his self-teachings, one of the things I don't think he's learned is that all the drifting, sliding, and wheel spin is definitely NOT the Pho King Fast way around the track. Yeah, Chris Harris and Jeremy Clarkson do them because they're driving like hooligans for fun. Fast way around the track (or proper racetrack driving)? Umm, no.
