Another vote for gmg bypass: keeps the note stock sounding but loud enough to hear in the cabin. And I'm more of an oem-exhaust kind of guy. Most everything i have is oem exhaust. And omg, have you ever seen how large/heavy a CGT exhaust is??!!! Shipping it involved a crate.

I had softened the rear anti-roll bar setting all the way and put 345-sized MSS on the rear and it helped quite a bit. But it still always felt like it was trying to kill me.

One of my favorite memories is pulling my dirty CGT back in the garage after returning from a track day at Sebring. So satisfying to drive it hard on track and bring it home safe.

Another vote for GMG here. It sounds like OEM but more. It greatly improved the driving experience for me.

It doesn't need more, the pitch is perfection.
I'm all for exhaust upgrades as I have on some of my cars, but not the CGT.
GAME OVER.

Had been for sale for roughly a year (maybe more??), then bought by a dealer. They lost money on the sale.

Hard to say, because it would depend on the deal they struck with RM.

My understanding was that they paid $1.2 for the car (after it had been for sale from the owner in the $1.4 range).

I would still be a 'believer' in that car long term, but the market just isn't there currently.

it's a long term collector hold for sure.

Agreed 100%. All of my cars have stock exhaust except my Carrera GT. GMG exhaust for the CGT is great, best sounding aftermarket system on the CGT (and I have heard them all). A couple of side note: I wouldn't let GMG install the exhaust if given the choice and I added additional insulation to the transmission oil line, as it sits a little bit close to the exhaust pipe.

Not hard, there are only a few companies that makes the exhaust for the CGT.

Thanks for the advice. GMG didn’t install (porsche dealer cgt tech did). However, hadn’t heard about the additional insulation for the oil line. I’ll check that out next time in for service.
