I'm glad it's not - driving a 700k car gets enough attention.

Bought it for all the right reasons would hate to own it for the wrong reasons.

We all know it's the best F1 sounding manual ever built and we also know there won't be another.

I think it is because it has no real connection to the 911 which is the iconic car in porsche model history. if it did I think it would be worth more.

I think it has more to do with the fact that CGT is not a user friendly car. Even if one can drive a manual transmission car, this car still posts a challenge which most people are not up to.

And that precisely why, with time it will be appreciated for what it truly is.

Also a comment of it not being related to a 911 keeps its price down? That will be its saving grace going forward. I can turn ANY 911 into an RS fake with factory pieces and everything. I used to have 6 911's of different variants and sold every one of them. They were just the same version with small differences. Not exciting.

Bespoke cars always do better in the long run and you will see that same thing happen here.

True - if I can't pick up the Ford GT grabbing a second CGT and moth balling it.

I agree.
People paying $1.5M for F40 (Glorified 308), just doesn't make sense...

if you think an f40 is a glorified 308 you clearly don't know much about them.

I'm personally one of the few ppl who's not a fan of the f40 but it's definitely very different from a 308

Yeah. I have always been a fan of the F50 myself, but the F40 is an epic car.

For me F50 is my favorite out of the Ferrari supercars as well. Can't beat an open top Ferrari V12 with a gated shifter.

The V12 does it for me too, nothing beats a Ferrari V12.
