Speef. No offense but you show up on this board from nowhere and start raining on every one's parade. Not cool. The people in this forum did not buy their Carrera GTs for an investment. They bought these cars because they are unique and very different than most performance cars out there. They bought them because they were enamored by them and after owning them, they are even more in love with them. I am not sure what is the purpose for your posts. If you think you could get one for $300,000 then more power to you. However you don't need to post multiple posts about this car being worth nothing soon. I can guarantee you that most owners in this forum will not part with their babies any time soon.

you're probably right about sounding harsh... my apologies... and I'm not trying to find car for $300k... actually been trying to buy my business partner's car for over 2 years for considerably above that but he'd rather be buried in it before parting with it...

My beef is with speculators and with the fact they are taking advantage of excess liquidity... I don't want to rain on people's parade... but point well taken, I'll stop now...

That's the spirit of the thread - to help those who have the need for the purist car ever.

CNC has a high mileage CGT for sale: WP0CA29825L001509 Apparently needs major service. Has that car been discussed here? What's the story? How much would such service cost(roughly)? 30k engine service + clutch + ??? = $$$? Thanks.

I'm not sure if it's what you meant by "major service", but in addition to any regular servicing, the car needs a clutch.

I thought I read somewhere that at 30k miles there needs to be a valve train inspection/adjustment.

STL motors just called and stated they are wholesaling their CGT - if anyone wants one it's a nice clean CGT guessing 8 - 9k miles talk to David H.

Pretty good result for a CGT. 7500KM Basalt Blk/Terra sold for 761,600 euro.

This auction achieved quite a few insane numbers though.
