While I dont disagree about your conclusion regarding PAG - the post is misleading - non metallic PTS was a $15,500 option on the CGT in 2005.

My mistake, I read that option list incorrectly on my small phone screen, thank you for the correction.

$60k+ for paint on any car is just plain stupid IMO.

This car would have been closer to $1m last year... under 2k miles, asking $699k... at the dealer...

10% room for negotiation and 10% room for profit... do the math... this car is in the 5s...

this is a 30%+ correction ... I'm just saying...

ummmmmmmm this was never a million dollars man.... Not sure where you were but maybe 2-3 cars traded in that range. I would say 800-850 sold was realistic at the very peak for this car. List at 699k is right on the money. Things traded off, down 30% from peak? I dont think that far, but probably more like 15-20%. All healthy stuff for a future all time classic. Its still very young.

last year an 05 with 1800 miles $850k easy... this will go for hi 5s... maybe low 6s... remember if 1800 miles goes for low 6s, that means 2004 and 2005 are in the 5s... that's 30% down over last year ...

That 1800 mile car may have been asking $850k, but I can't think of anything like that transacting at that price unless it was black or PTS.

There was a lot of momentum behind the price escalation and a lot of cars were priced based on the momentum, not real transactions.

Here's another data point - a very clean 04 with 14k miles recently traded in the high $500s.

Also could be Rosso Scuderia, the painted spokes look to be a deep red.
That looks like the Lambo Orange. Original owner was in the Monterey CA area.
Car sold a couple years back out of Newport Beach. I remember he had to press Porsche to get the color/rims and the calipers (black) painted. I posted a picture a few years back with mine and his in the shop for service.

Goldman has it listed at 769k on cars.com so there is your 10% theory it's as low as they are going listed on e-bay.

10% profit - I don't know or care what someones profit is and if that's considered in your 30% market adjustment ... then we can agree to disagree.

Really man?? Get over it, you think people dont see this? Are you now a market maker for the CGT?

Good luck trying to afford one, you seem to be trying real hard so ill give you that!!

The market will right itself, 911's will go down, the CGT will go up over time no doubt about it. That simple. Thats exactly what that thread talks about. Not this car, but overpriced 911's. Goodbye.
