@orca15 You're welcome, glad it was helpful.

Re if a Hybrid requires a 12V power supply? You may require it, I have read about the 12V batteries dying in hybrids and pure electric cars and you dont want the voltage to dip while coding.

I ordered one of these power supplied from Amazon:
Amazon Amazon
Very nice unit that allows you to supply constant adjustable voltage at 100amps. It can also be setup as a 3 stage charger as well.

I just would like to share that I got my PIWIS 3 from rnlst_log
Download the SW online and got the interface within one week.
Decided to buy a refurbished laptop on Amazon and recovery the image into SSD ... very easy process and the support I am getting is above and beyond.
If you are looking for PIWIS this is a great option.

You can PM him directly by locating a post he made, select it on the left side of the post and the pull down menu will give you an option to PM him.

Good point, and I had checked his vitals but couldn't remember what the magic count is to enable PM's.

Where are you all finding the recommended current for your car on the battery charger/power supply? All I’m finding info for is trickle charge.

im going to order this for my 2017 Boxster base as I only have a 15A circuit to plug into. It looked like 75A is 13A and the 100A charger is 15A so didn’t want to risk tripping a breaker

I use this one 30 amps which is more than enough to keep battery charged. You can use PIWIS as long as you want. Found on Amazon.
