Man, I hate my local Ford Dealer (Ken Grody). I wasted 3 hours dropping off the car and getting a rental. These guys have no respect for customer's time. Just horrible experience. And my expectation was already low to begin with.

Take the senior service advisor aside and have a private talk. Introduce yourself and make it clear that you are extremely dissapointed with the customer service so far. Let him know you would really like this to not escalate and would rather have a good experience that would be mutually beneficial. This is what I did when I noticed I was getting the Ford Focus treatment one time - after that conversation they know my name and service is top notch. I give them excellent reviews and surveys in return. (They pay close attention to these surveys).
Hope you get the issue resolved fast. Let us know the outcome.

One more thing, there will likely be more R allocations available in 2017.
New rule for the dealers.
Used to be for every 3 regular gt350s they got 1 gt350R allocation.
For 2017 they get 1 gt350R allocation for every 2 regular gt350

While I really like my GT350, there is no denying that weight distribution is such a key factor for this car. It amazes me how good the turn-in is however you still have to balance and manage it well on tight corners as well as fast corners... and on heavy braking too. But again still a fun car to hoon IMO.

I still think and hope that the gt350 is in own league.
The only cars journalists are comparing it to are cars in $100-150k dollar range.
This car should go up against audi s4 and m3/m4
Same price range and 4 seaters

If you don't mind me asking, what car did you track before the gt350?

Personally I'd still choose the GT350 over an S4 or M3/M4.... I like the others- my brother has an S4 and my good friend has an M3 but the GT350 sound alone is worth it plus more unique/rare. For the track, the achilles heel is really the weight/heft.

I still track my C7 Z06... while that's a beast the issue is reliability and consistency. We all know how the Z06 "heats" things up like a solar flare. It'll be replaced soon though... I had 15+ months of fun with it so time to move on. Personally I'd still choose the GT350 over an S4 or M3/M4.... My track car is a cheater 996gt3. It's probably 700pounds lighter than the gt350.
Different hourses for different courses.
The gt350 is probably the best compromise for the money on the market right now. Big enough to feel safe in Florida traffic with two kids in the back seat. The sound of the engine alone is worth more than a European sedan. I used to DD an Audi s4 before I bought the raptor. Good car but nothing special about it.
If I didn't need the back seats I would buy a 2016 gt3 to DD. Never thought that day would come to say that a gt3 is a good DD.
On the other hand I feel more comfortable tracking a $60k dollar car than a $150k car.
I went black with white stripes with the little red accent on the stripes. Probably won't get it until the fall. Not really familiar with the ford build slot system so have to wait and see.

I'm close to opting for a GT4 and later on will chase a 991.2 GT3.

It's fun in trhe streets even when driving slow.... the decel burbles and braps is priceless. Don't have GT3 expectations on the track though but it's not far away as long as you manage weight.... we know how that's a key factor at Sebring especially for fast exits out of turns. It puts power down well.

90% of buying a 350 is the sound 10% is track worthy and ventilated seats :-)

Good points - and I would throw in a high percentage on looks too. I find the GT350 to be a difficult car to photograph, in person it has immense presence.
