Yup - there again - the wide hips and front fascia are hidden from the lens.
These are a couple photos that represent it well - the rear shot especially - extremely low and wide.
My shot was with iPhone 6 Plus, so that doesn't help it. The shots you posted are for sure better in showing off the lines.
I was surprised at the placement of the GT350 and GT. It was in a smaller hallway just outside the doors that lead to the main room. Wasn't a well lit area. I would've thought they'd place it amongst their regular vehicles in the "main tent".
The GT350 as I have driven around the streets is so visceral and raw.
The sound is awesome even at 3500 RPMs - total head turner.
In contrast to my GT3 - I have one because the regular 991s are like driving a Lexus to me- too refined but the GT3 is refined in contrast to the Shelby.
Would never have believed the difference in size between the two.
Also the Shelby front hood must weigh 50 lbs- dont know why- maybe to help hold the front end down.
I am older so this car brings me back to my 67 vette days.
My car arrived a day early!! Car came very dusty. Got it washed right away.
First impressions:
1. Car feels very big compared to GT4. The hood looks very long.
2. Very sluggish and unresponsive below 4,000 rpm. Above 4,000 RPM, it's completely different car. Very responsive, easy to heel and toe. It doesn't feel that fast because of long gearing. I think 2nd gear seems to hit around 90 mph.
3. Good shocks! Car is very comfortable even in sports mode. I wish I can lower the car another 1.5 inches.
4. Very sharp steering and turn in. I haven't driven a FR performance car in a while. I have to get used to a different handling characteristic. It feels like rear is going to break loose quickly. Anyway, haven't really pushed it yet, but it just feels that way.
Another gripe. Car doesn't come with garage door opener. I'm shocked! It's a $58K car. I can't believe you have to get a technology package to get the garage opener. WTH? People who track their cars don't have garages? You can't even get it as a separate option.
BTW, lots of looks and stares for this car. I guess Americans love their Mustangs. When I was driving my GT3 or GT4, I feel like people look at me like I'm a dick (maybe a little due to my driving). But with this car, lots of thumbs up.
I think it might be too loud for the street. Just deleting the resonator makes it sound perfect.
Also, it's all exhaust sound. There is zero intake resonance. Usually with high revving cars, there is fair amount of intake induction high pitch like in a GT3 or 458. There is absolutely no intake induction noise. Which is odd.
Have you deleted the resonator? I was planning on it initially but i'm starting to think stock sound is perfect in Sport mode. Would need to hear someone else's in person before I did that or an R which has no resonators.

I just got them deleted. Basically you replace portion of the x-pipe.
On idle and normal cruising, it's about the same, maybe a little louder. But when you are flooring it, it's definitely louder. And I think it should still be legal, since Rs do not have resonators.
