If anything, there has been report of fuel starvation issues at the track under high G cornering when levels are low.

Off topic.

It's proving to be a nightmare trying to work with a reputable transport company to get my GT350 from Arkansas back to California.

Long story short, don't work with PNP Logistics. Such blatant liars. Was supposed to pick up the car yesterday. Called me saying that the dealer wouldn't release the car, which is a complete BS. Promised to pick it up today saying that the driver is 30 minutes out. Got a call from the driver 2 hours later saying he will pick it up tomorrow. And just found a 2 pending lawsuits and complains in BBB and ripoffreport.

Now I have to reschedule everything again. Was really hoping to get the car here this weekend for a track day. Sucks!

Ford recommends first 100 miles limited rpm / varied speed and at least 1,000 miles before track use.

Many people on this board know better than the manual. They are also viewed as Gods here for doing " a proper break in " straight to the track. Also big words are being thrown like " this car is used like it's been designed ".
The fact of the matter is that these are not race cars(not referring to the GT350 only, but to the GT3/RS,GT4 etc),to rebuild the engine sooner rather than later.
And in the end,it all relates to the depth of one's pockets : if you're loaded, who cares...
If you get rid of the car in a couple of years, who cares...

Me neither. But most of the time, I get rid of my cars before the warranty is over.

Well, I was going to search for a DIB or Black car and wrap it in Grabber, but apparently that's coming down the pipe anyway! Woohoo!

My quandary is I'm deciding between a 2010/2011 GT3RS or getting the R when allocations become available. Torn. Pluses and minuses both ways.

Still deciding.

off topic again.

Do you guys think markup of $1500 is pretty fair for Focus RS? Given that the dealer is in California, I can probably save at least $1500 in shipping if I get it from a local dealer vs out of state dealer.

Once people compare the F SR with a GLA 45, for example, you might find that you've got a great deal at $1500 over. The SR might be a great daily driver in CA. Make sure you have some barbecue when you get the SR.

The GT350 is an great car for the money. I just wish it was lighter. 3700lbs is a bit heavy for a track car.
