Track pkg components (all the coolers, bigger spoiler, alum tower brace, MagRide) is now standard across the board. Electronics Pkg and Convenience Pkg are now the separated options on non-R's.

Now, the base model with static suspension (normal coil overs) probably does not because it is like any other Mustang as far as component makeup is concerned formthensuspension.

All of my Porsche's are ordered with steel brakes for a reason. They perform just as well on the track as the pccb and less expensive to maintain. I would think 95% of the garage queens have pccb's.

Interesting...if Porsche thought they were so good and a must have, then it would be standard on the RS. It is about $$$$$$.
MMM951: Yes but the R magnaride is tuned to the CF wheels. The TP car Magnaride is not specifically tuned to the CF weight.

More flexibility then with the TP car it would seem.

Also, Chevrolet just announced their new 1LE (soon to be released) will out perform the GT350 based on its testing. Who here didn't see that coming? If true or even close to true expect ADMs to drop.

Also, who here doesn't see a new Z28 coming?

Ford will surely up the game with improvements on the GT350. So it continues. All good stuff though for consumers!!!

The engine in the GT350 has a dry-sump? I haven't seen that anywhere. In fact, this review at Edmunds says it does not: http://www.edmunds.com/ford/mustang/...voodoo-v8.html

Ford's first crack at a flat-plane crank V8 is a whopper. At a much more attainable price, the Voodoo generates BMEP within a stone's throw of those produced by manufacturers that have a lot more seat time in developing them. And it does it without the benefit of direct injection, ideal exhaust manifolds, a dry sump scavenging system or exotic materials. There's not a titanium rod or valve to be found.

All this and it can be serviced at your local Ford dealer.

It does not have a true dry sump system as far as I know. It has an elaborate oil baffle design that reduces the amount of oil starvation to the pick up under high G load.

Sweet! Looks like the 2017 GT350 with electronics package will be the best of both worlds!

Darn. I thought it does. I hope I don't get oil starvation problems running slicks.

You have nothing to worry about - the GT350R-C has been pulling victory after victory at IMSA. Your Shelby was race proven before production!
