Which will heat soak like a mother****er like every supercharged car on the track....
Not necessarily true. The C7 Z06 had issues the first year and Chevy remedied that. Many automakers are going "induced" now including Ferrari, Porsche, Ford GT etc...
Have you seen the new ZL1 1LE? It's damn near a GT4 race car without the cage. It's supercharged and has the intercoolers needed to keep it going on the track. It's also way trick from aluminum bits to the Multimatic dampers and on and on. Almost makes me want to buy one. This new ZL1 1LE is no question faster than the GT350R with a nicer interior to boot. The new GT500 is clearly intended to take this beast on. Problem will be the new GT500 will be very pricey. The aluminator cpc engine alone is $30K. My bet the GT500 will MSRP for $90K at least. Then don't forget ADM's.
If its a mass produced model like the GT350 question is resale. Forking out $100K+ on a Mustang with multiple year production in the pipe line expect to lose resale like a Z06.
ZL1 may be the best buy right now if ultimate peformance is the goal.
$20K for the Aluminator. I'll predict the GT500 starts at $68K, not that I'm interested.
I hope you are right. But don’t count out dealer greed. Adms will be very high. Usual frustrating scenario likely.
For or some reason the ZL1 1LE I think can be bought at msrp. That’s killer. What a car. Tough choice between this and an R if prices are close. Lean towards R since I am a Blue Oval guy but that’s me. If I could strike discount on ZL I would have to buy it and just wear a disguise when I drove it
Just pull the spring out - makes a world of difference. To accomplish this, push in the clutch by hand, grab the spring assy at the top with the other hand and pull towards you. It will pop out with minimal effort. Clean up residual grease and motor on. Good luck with your '17. Here's my '16 Track Pack with a little customization.

I wouldn't doubt it. The car is a '17, already a year old even if new, and winter sales of sports cars are very slow in cold states like IL. Seems like a good buy.

Thanks for pointing out that it was a '17, I assumed it was a '16 with only a few miles because it came up after I suggested, in 2016, that the only way these would appreciate over MSRP would be if bubble wrapped about 10+ years and someone was bursting my bubble. Still to soon.
Kudos to you guys putting on the miles and shaking out the bugs..
