It didn't actually go for $63... I was the seller, and my Reserve was $65K, BAT kicked in the difference from their sellers commission. With the 5% commission, the buyer actually paid $66,150. Which I still think is a smoking deal! To see the R's coming down to MSRP (used) is great.
Best Regards,
Dave
This is encouraging because I'm on the hunt for a '17-'18 GT350R at MSRP or below now.
Hi All, first time posting in this forum. I had this thread sent to me by one of my Porsche friends. I waded through the whole tread over the last week or so, and I must thank everyone for all of the useful information. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on the car, but I do have a little reservation about my height. I am 6'5" and a bit worried about my height with a helmet. Any owners here that are a similar height have any feedback? I would use this as a daily driver as well as a track car. I suppose I could add an aftermarket seat and lower it, but I would like to keep things as stock as possible.

Welcome to the forum. I am not an owner (yet) but the first thing I did when the GT350 came out was visit the showroom with my helmet. I am 6'4" and the stock Recaros worked for me. Much better than a Corvette--my helmet rubs on the roof sitting in one of those.

HTH,

Thanks Tom! I also went in and sat in one (really bad idea since after sitting in it and hearing the exhaust I wanted one even more). I didn't bring my helmet though so it was hard to figure out how close I was to the ceiling.

You should be comfortable the GT350 is very accommodating.
Depends what you are after. I had a test drive in a 2009 Turbo and damn it was fast, just pulls in every gear all over. Ultimately went with my C4S as I wanted the clean 911 lines without Turbo bits and the spec on my car was better overall.
I haven't driven my GT350 much as I just got it end of November and it went into storage shortly thereafter, something like 200km on it. However if I recall my Turbo experience with the light GT350 experience I'd say GT350 all the way!!! It has more character, the sound and well American Muscle...if that's what you want.
Good to see Porsche owners considering a GT350. I know a few of you from other Mustang forums including trackmustangsonline.com. I'm going to be listing my GT350 Track Pack for sale in the next week or two. I'm taking a break from tracking hence the sale. I'm at the point if I get back into it seriously I'm going to buy a race car, most likely a Boss 302S or a Cayman Clubsport. In the meantime I have a 2014 C2S to keep me busy. I'll track it a bit but most likely only a couple of times a year.

I agree with that last post. As you can see I've gotten some hard to get cars over the years and the gt350R wore me out! In guessing "low" price point brought more competition to the game but still
good to see in the chart above only 27 GB cars and only 10 with white stripes tho!
Took a quick look at the GT350 market here in Toronto area. Around 10 cars for sale with $6,000-$10,000 off MSRP.
$70K for a brand new GT350 seems to be a good value given its capability. Oh Canada....
I have a question. My 2014 GT500 weighs 3850 pounds. How did the GT350 become a 4400 lb blob.
I love the car too I can't get over that flaw. I wanted to trade in and maybe supercharge it but no....

Hellcat is 4,400 lbs. GT350 are approximately 150-200 lbs lighter than your GT500 iirc.
