Can anyone comment about how accurate the "My Porsche" website was when it came to delivery date?
Sometimes it's right on, sometimes it's a few days off, sometimes it's totally off. Not sure how the system gets updated, but it's definitely not real-time.
Woke up this morning to my car delivery being delayed - again. Now saying October 4, 2023.
The good news is that my sales guy saw the same thing this morning, at exactly the same time as his regional manager was sitting in front of him having a conversation. According to the regional manager, all new Macans have software updates that are required before the dealers can take delivery of them, hence the delays in delivery. Apparently there is a team of people that just travel around and take care of these updates that delay deliveries, and they are currently in-route to San Diego to take care of the latest shipment that was unloaded there.
Fortunately, the regional manager put a priority on getting mine done (at least that's what I was told haha), so hopefully it won't be much longer until I can finally get my ride.

Did he say what the update does? I just took delivery a few weeks ago so I'll want to get it done sooner rather than later if it's something important.

Negative, he didn't say, and I wasn't wise enough to ask.
That is about when I figured, and unless they decide to use the same body for both...?.. I doubt the ICE will get much of a change, if any
The Macan EV is a new generation + different platform. Lots of spy photos showing the exterior and a few of the interior too. Should be announced end of this year or early next which is already a year or more later than originally planned.
Agree the ICE version will get few if any changes... perhaps a new colour or some more standard equipment to go with a price increase. On timing, it seems to me that the 2024s were available earlier than usual... spring time as opposed to fall. Not sure if that was a one off timing change though.

I absolutely liked my decision of going with papaya …. It looks even better in person than pictures.
