I am out of here! Was able to take stateside delivery of my car this weekend. Boy oh boy, has this been a long wait or what! Did European delivery - picked up my car on July 18th, dropped it off at Sindelfingen on the 27th, the car arrived at the Emden port on August 1st and then sat there at the port for almost 2 months (explanation given was summer holidays in August ). Left Emden on the SFL composer on Sep 20th and arrived at Baltimore on Oct 5th and delivery at the dealership on Oct 14th!

This weekend I enjoyed test driving Macan for first time and it was white with red interior )
Looking forward to the week ahead....expecting delivery on Wednesday to the dealership and then about two days before it will be ready for pick up. Can't wait
My Macan GTS has FINALLY arrived at the dealership after our Euro Delivery trip at the end of August. Arrived in Halifax on Oct 4th and then the railyard in Toronto last week.
Hopefully pickup on Thursday or worst case Friday. Can't wait.

Well…. You can really only compare factory wait/build times as dealer ordering and allocation times will vary. For me it’s been (will be) about 3 months from the time my build started to delivery. The initial milestones estimated from Porsche kept getting pushed back. That being said, my build started 1 week earlier than estimated but It sat in the status of built - waiting to go to the port for 10 days longer than estimated AND sat at the port almost 2 weeks longer than estimated. Dealer delivery will be roughly 4-5 weeks later than originally estimated.
My expectations of an on time delivery are becoming extended....especially with your post alexm1982. My Macon was suppose to be delivered today and not that I actually thought it was going to happen, I am just hoping it doesn't sit at the Rhode Island port for weeks waiting for the truck.

So as it turns out my GTS arrived yesterday and is currently being prepped. I’m getting the nose wrapped, full car ceramic coated and the Porsche dash cam installed so it not be ready until late next week. Very excited!
My Gentian blue beauty was ordered about a month ago, and just recently locked. It's currently scheduled to reach the dealer on 12/12/23, but I'll be happy if it arrives before the New Year.

I am waiting to order a 2025 in that color, lease on the 2022 is up December of 24...
I will probably buy it out and put it up for sale...it has been absolutely perfect (as was the 2019 that I bought out for my son)

Totally psyched....my new ride has arrived late this afternoon. Hoping they can start the prep process tomorrow and be ready for delivery Tuesday.
Quick question - What does everyone thing about applying PPE to the front, hood, fenders, mirrors,etc and/or just a good ceramic coating? My dealer wants 3200.00 for the PPE.
I'm getting PPF on the hood, fenders, and front bumper and then ceramic over everything. Not knowing your dealer at all I'd recommend finding a good independent shop to do the work as you'll generally get a far better job for far less $$$.
For reference I'm getting the PPF work above plus tint on the front windows plus ceramic done for less than what your dealer has quoted for PPF alone. In Canadian dollars no less.
