Hi guys, the excitement is contagious here! Unfortunately, I'm not sure I've even reached step 1 of the 'official waiting period'. I placed an order for a '24 Macan (base) in the beginning of June and paid about 10% deposit. Still haven't heard A THING from the dealer. Not really sure if there's a crazy amount of waiting or just very few allocations for the region (I'm in Dubai btw), but it seems like I'm going to be waiting until next year given how I don't even have an allocation yet. So, my question is, is this normal? Do I need to follow up? Am I being impatient?
Man, this is so frustrating...my GTS went from supposedly leaving Emden on June 24th to then leaving July 27th and is now showing August 31st as a depart date. Is anybody else seeing these kinds of delays? I can't imagine why it's just sitting at the port in Germany for so long. Anybody know what "typical" reasons for that might be?

my macan S was suppose to leave Emden on 17th July and now showing to leave at 31st August to US east coast.
still showing at Emden … SA says many getting delayed. do you know which ship you are on?
I think it's on the Siem Cicero since it just left on the 29th and is en route to Baltimore. I didn't use the method somebody posted above to find the vessel name - just making an assumption.
I changed my entire build.... saw Chalk in person and LOVED it!! Only have about 3 more weeks until my build freeze date.

one thing I noticed when I was ordering my 24 Macan S is that few colors looked better at the showroom then in actual road conditions after some normal use, I was planning to get a volcano gray initially but then realized that it doesn’t look very good on the road when not maintained as at the showroom. Then I saw a papaya metallic on the road and couldn’t move away from it.

I am a chalk lover as well. Here is a pic of Chalk in the wild. Mine has the black bits on the exterior in lieu of body color bits. Regarding Papaya, my wife has a 23 Papaya GTS stalled at the dealer for a missing Burmester amp. The dealer is over 2 hours away so we haven't seen it yet because it would probably make the wait more frustrating.
